About QUIZZUM
Our Story
QUIZZUM is a competitive platform designed to challenge and inspire students in grades 8–12 through monthly math and business competitions. With two distinct levels—Early High School (Grades 8–10) and Advanced (Grades 11–12)—QUIZZUM blends rigorous pure math problems with real-world business scenarios to sharpen analytical thinking and financial literacy. Participants progress from a prelim round to a final round featuring open-ended business challenges, fostering not just problem-solving skills, but creativity and strategic thinking. At QUIZZUM, we believe that education is power, and competition is the catalyst for growth.
How it works
Our testing process is designed to be seamless and effective, ensuring that students can take the test from anywhere. Alongside this, almost 25% of our profits go to helping those children who cannot afford their own education.
Categories
All highschool (8-12) students can apply to the competition, with students in grades 8 to 10 under early highschool and those in grades 11 and 12 under advanced highschool
Awards/Honours
As for the winners, online certificates will be sent out alongside small cash prizes. A leaderboard consisting of the top 10 will be published every month, with only the top 3 receiving cash prizes and the rest with certificates. The top three of every month will be published up to the last 16 months.
Prelim Round
The preliminary round can be joined by anyone currently in high school and will consist of pure math and business math questions. All students who land in the 90th percentile may be able to take part in the finals round
Final Round
The final round consists of only one open ended question regarding business and entrepreneurship. Among these students only the top 3 will receive cash prizes and medals, and the rest of the top 10 will receive certificates.
